Getting the Job Done

• Provide guests and team members with professional, efficient, courteous and genuine hospitality.
• Anticipates guest’s needs and offers services prior to the guest asking.
• Utilizes Quore and ensures that PMs are completed for Rooms, Building and Mechanical Equipment as required by the Brand Standards.
• Manages the maintenance department which includes but is not limited to; scheduling, assigning work orders, maintaining logs of all tests, inspections and repairs, supervising, training, coaching and counseling the team.
• Maintains the Hotel’s physical, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems ensuring they are properly functioning.
• Ensures the cleanliness, security and organized storage of all department tools and equipment.
• Ensures security and preventative maintenance in compliance with property and Brand standards.
• Maintain open and professional communication with other department heads and supervisors to ensure the needs of the guests and team members are addressed timely.
• Operates and understands that this role is part of the senior leadership of the hotel.
• Makes sure Brand Service Scores are monitored and ensures the property is at or above the Brand average for overall experience.
• Responds to after-hour calls as needed and be able to work nights, weekends and Holidays as needed.
• Ensures team members attend all mandatory meetings and complete all the required training.
• Ability to grasp, bend, stoop and push, pull and lift 40 lbs.

Experience for Success

• 2 years of Maintenance experience, preferably in Hotels
• High Scholl Diploma; College a plus
• Trade or Technical certifications
• Prior Supervisor Experience a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skill, a second language a plus
