Chief Lighting Technician/Lighting Technician
About the role
We are looking for a friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic lighting professional to join our Production Team. We are recruiting to a single post, which may be appointed at either Lighting Technician or Chief Lighting Technician level, depending on the skills, experience and expertise of the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Technical Manager, Production Manager and the wider Production Team to deliver exceptional experiences that aim to delight.
- Ensure the safe and efficient preparation of spaces, pre-rigs, focus, fit-ups, and get-outs.
- Help to ensure that every event exceeds expectations.
Requirements
- Experience in lighting production is essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry-standard lighting equipment and techniques.
Qualifications
- Education in a relevant field is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure.
