CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER (CLO)
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Chief Legal Officer (CLO) to lead the legal function for a growing, multi-state organization operating within the construction, reconstruction, restoration, mitigation, packout, abatement, demolition, and related services industries. The CLO will serve as the Company's senior legal executive and strategic legal advisor to executive leadership. This position is responsible for enterprise legal strategy, corporate governance, commercial contracting, litigation oversight, regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions, and management of the Company's overall legal risk. The CLO will be expected to understand the Company's business model, evaluate enterprise-level exposure, provide decisive legal recommendations, and develop a scalable legal infrastructure to support continued organizational growth.

This individual will understand the business, identify material enterprise risk, distinguish manageable operational exposure from significant legal exposure, and provide executive leadership with clear, commercially practical recommendations. The CLO will establish a scalable legal function that protects the organization without unnecessarily slowing business operations.
