Chief Investment Officer

About the role

The Chief Investment Officer will lead the investment strategy and portfolio management for a major financial institution. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be responsible for making strategic investment decisions that align with the organization's long-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies that align with the organization’s strategic objectives
• Manage and optimize the investment portfolio to meet performance targets
• Conduct market analysis and provide insights to inform investment decisions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment between investment strategies and business goals
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting investments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in investment management
• Proven track record of successful investment decision-making
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex data sets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
