About the role
The Chief Investment Officer will lead the investment strategy and portfolio management for a major financial institution. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be responsible for making strategic investment decisions that align with the organization's long-term goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement investment strategies that align with the organization’s strategic objectives
- Manage and optimize the investment portfolio to meet performance targets
- Conduct market analysis and provide insights to inform investment decisions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment between investment strategies and business goals
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting investments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in investment management
- Proven track record of successful investment decision-making
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex data sets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Experience in leading investment teams
