About the Role

Reports To: MLH President/Chief Executive Officer

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is responsible for the strategic oversight of human capital management and employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partners with the CEO and executive team in ensuring the fulfillment of MLH’s mission, vision, and values through planning, goal setting, education, and performance development.
• Provides transformational vision and guidance to management on employee and patient engagement, human capital management, as well as innovative initiatives to recruit and retain top talent.
• Leads the implementation of the succession plan to ensure a highly competent workforce and provide opportunities for career development and advancement.
• Ensures the development and provision of contemporary, competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain a best-in-class workforce.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Related Field Required. Doctoral Degree Preferred.
• Minimum 5-10 years of progressive Healthcare Human Resources Leadership experience required.
• SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resources Management-Senior Certified Professional) Certification required or to be obtained within one year of employment.
