Responsibilities
- Analyze wage and salary report data to determine competitive compensation plan.
- Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs and annual personnel budget.
- Write directives advising department managers of Bank policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation and employee benefits.
- Oversee employee and Board of Trustee payroll processing, benefits enrollment, wellness initiatives, employee scheduling, performance assessment, employee compliance training, new hire, retirement and termination processing.
- Consult with legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.
- Develop and maintain a human resources system that meets senior management needs.
- Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
- Conduct recruitment for open positions.
- Review and determine annual benefit options for Bank employees.
- Conduct new hire orientations and termination exit interviews.
- Successfully complete annual regulatory training as required by the Bank and adhere to all applicable banking regulatory requirements for this position.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, five or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and goal oriented.
- Strong organizational skills to perform and prioritize a high volume of tasks simultaneously.
- Consistently meet deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to context and detail.
- Ability to embrace a team-oriented culture and work collaboratively across Bank divisions to support strategic growth plans.
