Job Summary

CenterPointe Hospital, located in the historic Little Hills area along the Missouri River, seeks a Facility Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its senior leadership team. Serving adolescents, adults, and seniors with behavioral health concerns, CenterPointe offers 150 beds and a comprehensive continuum of care.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely completion of monthly financial statements and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Prepares corporate required reports such as the Monthly Operating Report, Monthly Certifications, Corporate Disclosures, and Forecasts.
• Ensures implementation and maintenance of accounting and business office policies and internal controls for a clean audit.
• Directs the operations of the Revenue Cycle to minimize uncompensated care and improve cash collections.
• Maintains a thorough understanding of federal, state, and managed care reimbursement methodologies to ensure accurate billing and record keeping.
• Supervises Accounting, Patient Accounting, Health Information Management, Materials Management, and other departments as assigned.
• Prepares annual operating and capital budgets and participates in strategic planning.
• Facilitates preparation of cost reports and ensures compliance with Group Purchasing contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with a major in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of successful CFO experience in a healthcare setting, with preference for behavioral healthcare experience.
• Previous experience with a proprietary healthcare system is highly desirable.
• CPA certification or Master’s degree in Accounting is preferred.
• Proven financial analysis skills.
• Proficiency with software packages including Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
