About the Role

At Warren Whitney, you won't simply be someone else's CFO; you'll become the trusted advisor for financial matters to multiple successful business owners. You'll tackle a variety of strategic challenges, work alongside experienced professionals in finance, HR, strategy, and executive search, and help companies grow, improve performance, and prepare for the future. This role offers the autonomy to shape your own client portfolio with the support, infrastructure, and benefits of an established firm.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial strategies and plans that support the organization's growth and profitability.
  • Cash Flow and Cost Management: Forecast and analyze cash flow, and implement strategies to optimize cash management while minimizing risk.
  • Financial Decision Support: Partner with department leaders to provide financial guidance and support for decision-making.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience with non-profit organizations or mid-sized businesses is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience in both public accounting and privately held or nonprofit employment.
  • Expertise in planning, analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop financial strategies that support business goals while mitigating risk.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with leaders and stakeholders.

Pay

Compensation is based on client billing, ranging from $160,000 to $240,000. The firm offers a competitive benefits package to full-time employees.
