Santé Group is a growing nonprofit behavioral and mental health organization serving communities across Maryland. We support individuals and families through crisis services, behavioral health programs, care coordination, and community-based services.
Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to help lead the financial future of the organization alongside executive leadership. This is a key executive leadership position reporting directly to the CEO and partnering closely with senior leadership and the Board.
What You'll Lead
- Enterprise-wide financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Financial oversight across multiple affiliated entities and programs
- Grant and contract financial management, including compliance and reporting
- Accounting operations, treasury, cash flow management, and internal controls
- Audit preparation, tax filings, regulatory reporting, and GAAP compliance
- Executive and Board-level financial reporting and presentations
- Financial systems optimization, reporting improvements, and operational efficiencies
- Leadership, development, and mentorship of the finance team
What You Bring
- Senior financial leadership experience within nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, or mission-driven organizations
- Experience managing grant-funded and/or government-funded financial environments
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, audits, compliance, and financial reporting
- Experience partnering with executive leadership and presenting financial information to Boards or leadership teams
- Multi-site or multi-entity financial oversight experience strongly preferred
- Medicaid, Medicare, or managed care reimbursement familiarity is a plus
- CPA preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree preferred
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and strategically
- Builder mindset with the ability to strengthen systems, processes, and operational structure
What We Offer
- Salary: $145,000–$160,000 annually, based on experience
- Hybrid work schedule (3 in-office / 2 remote after onboarding)
