Chief Financial Officer

POSITION DETAIL With over $700 million in assets, Mainstreet Federal Credit Union, located in Lenexa, Kansas, is seeking a dynamic finance and accounting executive to succeed its retiring Chief Financial Officer. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, this individual will be responsible for strategically leading general accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, asset liability management, and the oversight of a large investment portfolio. The incoming CFO will also be charged with enhancing organizational processes and procedures through technology-driven efficiencies while coaching, developing, and mentoring the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of experience leading finance and accounting functions within a financial institution, a strong background in investment portfolio management, and the expertise to develop branch profitability models and cost accounting methodologies. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.
