Chief Financial Officer

About the Role

Larksfield Place is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Leadership Team and serve as a trusted advisor to the President & CEO, Board of Directors, and Board of Trustees. This role goes beyond traditional finance, offering a meaningful voice in shaping financial strategy, capital planning, growth initiatives, and the long-term sustainability of an organization dedicated to exceptional senior living.

Locally managed in Wichita, Larksfield Place is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community with a national reputation for excellence. Our campus provides a full continuum of senior living and healthcare services, supported by an experienced leadership team committed to responsible stewardship, innovation, and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
• Manage treasury, investments, banking, debt, and liquidity
• Oversee audit, tax, and regulatory compliance
• Lead capital planning, financial modeling, and strategic analysis
• Manage financial risk and insurance oversight
• Prepare and present reports for the Board and Finance Committee
• Lead and develop the Finance team
• Collaborate with organizational leaders to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations
• Evaluate opportunities and investments that will shape Larksfield Place’s future

Requirements

• At least five years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience
• Strong command of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and strategic financial planning
• Experience as a CPA in senior living, healthcare, nonprofit, or another complex service organization is highly valued
