About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will partner with operational leaders and project stakeholders to standardize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and improve execution quality. The position offers the opportunity to create measurable efficiency gains and scalable operational improvements within a mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with CEO and leadership to shape financial strategies for growth
- Innovate and modernize financial systems and processes
- Design forward-looking financial models for strategic decisions
- Champion continuous improvement for effectiveness and scalability
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting with cross-functional leaders
- Oversee cash flow and resource allocation for financial health
- Implement integrated financial systems for real-time decision-making
Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, or equivalent experience preferred
- 12+ years of progressive financial leadership in complex environments
- Proven track record in financial transformation and systems implementation
- Experience with blended revenue models and diverse funding streams
- Strong data and technology skills to enhance financial decision-making
