About the role

This is a high-impact executive opportunity for a finance leader joining a rapidly scaling B2B SaaS and cybersecurity business. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own Finance and Accounting end to end and serve as a key voice in company-wide decision-making. You will shape financial strategy, capital allocation, pricing, unit economics, and the metrics that guide sustainable growth. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on ownership of financial operations, forecasting, controls, and reporting. You will work closely with the board and executive team while leading major initiatives such as M&A integration, financing, and strategic transactions. As the business scales, you will build a high-performing finance organization and leverage automation and AI to improve efficiency and insight.

Accountabilities

  • Set and execute the financial strategy in partnership with the CEO and board, ensuring finance is a strategic driver of growth and business performance.
  • Serve as the primary financial voice to the board and executive leadership team, owning board reporting and critical SaaS metrics including ARR, net revenue retention, CAC, and gross margin.
  • Advise executive leaders on pricing, unit economics, capital allocation, investments, and other strategic financial decisions.
  • Own Finance and Accounting end to end, including accounting, monthly close, FP&A, treasury, budgeting, internal controls, financial systems, and forecasting.
  • Build scalable financial processes that deliver accurate, timely, and reliable information to leadership and support confident decision-making.
  • Lead financial workstreams for major initiatives, including M&A integration, financing activities, partnerships, and other significant transactions.
  • Integrate acquired businesses into consolidated financial structures and reporting processes while maintaining appropriate controls and visibility.
  • Leverage AI and automation to increase the efficiency, scalability, and quality of financial operations.
  • Build, manage, and develop a finance organization characterized by stability, accountability, analytical rigor, and strong cross-functional partnership.
  • Partner with Legal and executive leadership on contracts, compliance, risk management, and other financially significant matters.
  • Translate financial analysis into practical recommendations and work with business leaders to turn insights into measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CFO within a company generating approximately $50M–$200M in revenue, ideally in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity.
  • Hands-on experience leading finance through a significant corporate transaction, particularly M&A.
  • Demonstrated success building and operating rigorous financial functions, including clean monthly closes, strong internal controls, reliable forecasting, budgeting, and FP&A.
  • Experience integrating acquired companies' financial operations and reporting into a unified financial structure.
  • Significant experience working directly with CEOs and boards in a scale-up environment.
  • Experience within private equity- or venture-backed organizations.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS financial models, metrics, unit economics, and growth-oriented capital allocation.
  • Experience with channel- or MSP-led distributed SaaS revenue models.
  • Familiarity with the cybersecurity ecosystem and major market dynamics is preferred.
  • Experience overseeing finance for a multi-product platform is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, analytical thinking, and relationship-building skills, with a reputation for proactive and effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • A hands-on leadership approach, combining strategic vision with the ability to engage deeply in financial operations and execution.

  • $300,000–$350,000 USD annual base salary.
