About the role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee all finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, interest rate risk, investments, and treasury management. They will also manage shareholder relations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee the finance and accounting functions of High Country Bank.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage accounts payable and payroll processes.
- Oversee interest rate risk management and investment activities.
- Administer treasury management services.
- Communicate effectively with shareholders and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in banking or finance.
- Proven track record in managing financial operations and overseeing compliance.
- Experience in shareholder relations and stakeholder communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience leading teams in a corporate environment.
- Understanding of financial modeling and forecasting.
- Experience in treasury management and investment strategies.
