About the Role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the Eurest Executive Leadership Team and strategic advisor to the CEO, responsible for the financial leadership of Eurest and affiliated businesses, including Krafted Kitchen, Waveguide, and the Military Group. The CFO develops and executes financial strategies that drive profitable growth, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and long-term value creation while partnering closely with business leaders across Compass Group North America.

Technical Expertise
Advanced knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, financial modeling, capital investment analysis, mergers and acquisitions, business intelligence, data analytics, and enterprise reporting is required. Experience with ERP and financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or OneStream, along with advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic & Financial Leadership: Serve as the principal financial advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team. Lead enterprise financial strategy, long-range planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, and performance management. Drive profitable growth while balancing investment, risk, operational efficiency, and working capital. Oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, financial reporting, cash flow, internal controls, compliance, audit, and enterprise risk management.
- Business Partnership: Partner with executive leadership to improve margins, productivity, pricing strategies, client retention, operational performance, and business growth. Evaluate strategic investments, acquisitions, business development opportunities, and major client contracts while providing financial guidance on enterprise initiatives.
- Operational Excellence: Lead financial transformation initiatives focused on process improvement, automation, reporting, analytics, KPI development, digital finance capabilities, and continuous improvement. Continuously enhance financial reporting, streamline business processes, and challenge the status quo to improve organizational performance.
- Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing finance organization supporting Eurest, Krafted Kitchen, Waveguide, and the Military Group. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, succession planning, talent development, coaching, engagement, and high performance.
- Enterprise Partnership: Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Sales, Legal, Procurement, IT, Marketing, Culinary, Safety, and Compass Group Corporate Finance to align financial strategy with business priorities. Represent Eurest on enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, acquisition due diligence and integration, technology implementations, and cross-functional leadership teams.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP, Compass Group financial policies, regulatory requirements, internal controls, corporate governance standards, and risk management practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including executive responsibility within a complex, multi-site organization with annual revenue exceeding $2 billion.
- Proven success leading large finance organizations and partnering with executive leadership to drive growth, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives.
- Extensive experience with FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, capital management, complex P&Ls, financial reporting, enterprise risk management, and financial controls.
- Strong commercial experience supporting business development, contract negotiations, acquisitions, strategic investments, and enterprise transformation.
- Experience within foodservice, hospitality, facilities management, healthcare, or other large service-based organizations preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading financial transformation, organizational change, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, influencing, negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
- Public accounting experience is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Pay
$285,000 - $315,000 / year, with annual bonus potential and monthly car allowance.
