The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the overall management of departments/entities assigned to them. They are expected to have:
Education
- Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting required
- Master's Degree in Health Care Finance or related field and/or C.P.A. preferred
- Must have a thorough knowledge of health care delivery system and facilities management.
Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes
- Progressive experience and successful record in health care field, including five (5) to seven (7) years of effective senior management experience in a related health care setting.
- Exceptional financial skills and abilities.
- Articulate communicator; team builder; negotiator; motivator; fair, creative and supportive manager.
- Ability to earn respect of the medical staff, auxilians, management team and employees.
- Ability to conceptualize; consistency in decision making; problem solver; outstanding skill in delegation; organized; strong business management orientation.
