About the role

Boly:Welch is partnering with Schnitzer Properties to find their next CFO. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner to the President, guiding financial strategy, strengthening operations, and positioning the company for continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the President, guiding financial strategy, strengthening operations, and positioning the company for continued growth
  • Lead the Accounting, Finance, IT, and Tax functions, building on a strong foundation while identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen reporting, and support informed decision-making
  • Ensure the integrity of the organization’s financial operations
  • Translate financial insights into business strategy, partnering with leaders across the company to evaluate opportunities, navigate risk, and drive sustainable growth
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, cash management, and corporate reporting
  • Mentor an experienced team and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Balance strategy with execution, managing complexity across multiple entities and locations
  • Provide thoughtful guidance to the President, influencing the direction of the business

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in accounting, finance, and organizational management
  • Experience overseeing 20+ person team with annual revenue of $1B+
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related discipline required
  • CPA & MBA or other advanced business degree strongly preferred
  • Real Estate investment experience highly preferred
