About the role
You'll partner directly with our CEO and Board to drive financial strategy, strengthen our ESOP, evaluate growth and acquisition opportunities, and build the systems and team to take us forward.
Responsibilities
- Drive financial strategy and strengthen the ESOP
- Evaluate growth and acquisition opportunities
- Build the systems and team needed to support future initiatives
- Own the financial outcomes and make the call on key decisions
- Work closely with the CEO and Board to ensure alignment on financial goals
- Forecast and manage cash flow, margins, and other key financial metrics
- Manage and mentor a finance team to support business growth
- Assess and advise on strategic acquisitions and partnerships
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
- Develop and maintain financial models and reports
- Support the CEO and Board in making informed financial decisions
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership, including 5+ years at the CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent level
- Strong construction industry experience is preferred
- Experience with ESOPs and M&A processes
- CPA or MBA certification
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead financial teams and drive strategic initiatives
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience with financial modeling and analysis tools
- Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices
