Job Summary
The Online NHS Trust is a new national digital-first Trust aiming to transform elective care in England. Established on 1 June 2026, it will provide high-quality, clinically rigorous care through the NHS App, potentially delivering up to 8.5 million appointments and assessments in its first three years. This role is crucial for building financial and organizational strategies.
About the role
You will lead the development of the Trust's financial framework, corporate and financial governance arrangements, procurement and contracting functions, estates and facilities function, risk management approach, and sustainability agenda. This role is part of a significant moment for the NHS and welcomes diverse candidates reflecting the communities the NHS serves.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust financial frameworks and governance structures
- Oversee procurement and contracting functions to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Manage estates and facilities to support the Trust's growth and sustainability
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive risk management approach
- Promote and manage the Trust's sustainability agenda
Requirements
- Proven track record in finance and governance
- Experience in leading large-scale organizational change
- Strong understanding of healthcare finance and regulatory requirements
- Excellent leadership and strategic planning skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Master's degree in Finance or related field preferred
- Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent
