Chief, Division of Adolescent Medicine - Associate Professor

About the role

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children's Wisconsin seeks a visionary, innovative, and scholarly leader to serve as the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Adolescent Medicine. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at the Children's Wisconsin hospital campus.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and strategy to drive programmatic excellence, aligning with the clinical, research, education, and community engagement missions of Children’s Wisconsin Hospital, Children’s Specialty Group, and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
• Be instrumental in expanding the division and cultivating new clinical and research collaborations across departments and institutions.
• Demonstrate a strong passion for the mission and vision of the Pediatric Adolescent Medicine Division, with a proven record of leadership, collaboration, and scholarly achievement.
• Relevant clinical expertise and leadership success are essential.
• Foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and professionalism across the organization while overseeing the Division’s finances responsibly.
• Recruit, retain, and support the development of a diverse and talented faculty, promoting their career growth.
• Thrive in a collaborative, matrixed, and complex environment, working effectively across diverse teams and provide leadership in a complex, multi-faceted university or academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Fellowship trained and Board certified in Adolescent Medicine.
• State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.

Pay

The salary range for this position is determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist.
