Chief CRNA - Day Kimball Hospital - Full Time

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief CRNA to join Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, Connecticut!

Responsibilities

• Case assignments: Orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, podiatry, spine fusions, cataracts, endoscopy, colonoscopy, TEE, cardioversions, pacemakers, and general surgery.
• Pediatric cases are ENT cases for M&T, adenoidectomies, and tonsillectomies.
• Pre-anesthesia assessment: Obtains and/or verifies patient consent; Discusses anesthetic options and risks with the patient; Performs induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia; Monitors the patient's physiological condition; Performs clinical intervention as needed.

Requirements

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hours. Beeper call on evenings and weekends.
• Current license as a registered professional nurse.
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education.
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Led by a leader with leadership experience.
