About the Role

You will lead Mercury’s independent assurance program, serving as a strategic partner to the Board and Audit Committee. Your responsibilities include evolving the risk-based internal audit strategy, delivering objective evaluations, ensuring audit coverage, validating product workflows, navigating the regulatory landscape, automating oversight, and championing sustainable remediation.

Qualifications

• Experience building or scaling internal audit functions within high-growth banking or financial services
• Technical fluency in cloud-native, remote-first environments

• Experience navigating regulatory landscapes and engaging directly with regulators
• Ability to communicate complex risk concepts clearly and effectively
• Experience balancing audit requirements with innovation and growth
• Leadership qualities including curiosity, vision, and the ability to inspire and develop teams

Pay

• Base salary ranges from $247,900 to $361,400 for US employees outside of NYC, LA, Seattle, or SF Bay Area
• Base salary ranges from $275,400 to $325,250 for US employees in NYC, LA, Seattle, or SF Bay Area
