About the role

As the Chief Architect, you will lead the architectural vision for our Services and Digital (SVD) product portfolio in the Electrification, Automation & Digital (EAD) division. Your expertise will guide technology direction, ensuring our solutions are scalable and aligned with our long-term business goals. Collaborating with product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders, you will transform complex requirements into sustainable architectural blueprints. You will establish standards and best practices, integrating cross-product capabilities like cloud-native applications, web APIs, data analytics, mobile solutions, and UI/UX. Your influence in strategic decision-making will involve evaluating emerging technologies and mentoring technical teams to foster a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-product technology strategies to deliver customer value and achieve business goals.
• Oversee architectural governance, making informed technology decisions and addressing legal considerations.
• Support product managers with business cases and implementation strategies while guiding technical growth.
• Establish guidelines for coding, testing, deployment, and cloud services.
• Drive standardization of digital architecture across SVD products.

Requirements

• A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Mastery of frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (GDPR, SOC2, HIPAA).
• Expertise in microservices, APIs, and system modernization.
• 10+ years of experience in programming, database management, and software architecture.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities to bridge technical and business language.
• Proactive leadership to inspire cross-functional teams.
