Opening for Chief Anesthesiologist at the state-of-the-art UPMC Pinnacle Memorial Hospital in York, PA. This 98-bed facility, opened in August 2019, features all private patient rooms and offers acute and emergency medical care, cardiology and vascular services, robotics, surgical services, and more. The hospital is designed for future expansion and is committed to providing sustainable, quality healthcare to the community. The team is supportive, friendly, and family-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Case Assignments & Schedule

• In-house call only if you reside more than 30 minutes from the hospital
• Six calls per month
• Post-call day off
• Procedures include general, endo, ortho, L&D, and more

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)

Pay

Salary: $500,000 annually

Sign-on Incentive: $30,000

Chief Variable Bonus: $45,000
