Role Overview
At Chick-fil-A DFW Airport, the Shift Supervisor role is a leadership position responsible for overseeing both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and team development. In this fast-paced airport environment, Shift Supervisors lead by example, support Team Members in real time, and ensure every shift reflects Chick-fil-A’s commitment to excellence, speed, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality.

Great Food
- Ensure all food meets Chick-fil-A quality and safety standards
- Monitor BOH execution across all kitchen stations (Prep, Boards, Breader, Machines, Fry, Utilities)
- Complete required food safety checks and walkthroughs each shift
- Reinforce proper procedures for food handling, preparation, and storage
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and trust through high-quality product execution
Clean & Safe Environment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in both FOH and BOH areas
- Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Monitor Team Member adherence to health and safety policies
- Utilize LEAN processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Maintain awareness of emergency and crisis response procedures
Fast & Accurate Service
- Drive Speed of Service goals while maintaining accuracy in both kitchen and front counter operations
- Monitor order flow, ticket times, and kitchen throughput during peak periods
- Avoid delays and maintain accuracy in order taking, preparation, and delivery to guests
- Adjust staffing and station coverage to meet demand efficiently
Genuine Hospitality Model
- Ensure every guest interaction reflects care, respect, and attentiveness
- Coach Team Members on delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Maintain a positive, welcoming, and energetic environment across the restaurant
- Ensure both guests and Team Members feel valued and supported
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous leadership experience in food service or hospitality preferred
Strong ability to lead both FOH and BOH teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to coach, motivate, and hold Team Members accountable
Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
