Position Summary

The Chicanx/Latinx Studies Department is looking for qualified instructors to teach the following courses:

  • ChLa 301U Chicanx/Latinx Communities
  • ChLa 375U Southwestern Borderlands
  • ChLa 390 Latinos in the Pacific Northwest
  • Other ChLa courses as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Latinx Studies or related field such as History, Literature, Philosophy, Sociology, Gender Studies, or Languages
  • Instructors must reside in Oregon or SW Washington.

Compensation

Adjunct faculty members are paid per credit hour per the AFT Collective Bargaining Agreement which can be found at https://www.pdx.edu/academic-affairs/academic-unions#psufa
