Chicago Branch - Warehouse Associate Second Shift

About the role

Wismettac Asian Foods is looking for a dependable, safety-minded Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role supports our fast-paced food distribution operations and plays an important part in ensuring customers receive quality products accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders
• Receiving, stocking, staging, and organizing inventory
• Operating pallet jacks and warehouse equipment safely
• Loading and unloading products
• Following FIFO inventory practices and food safety standards
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Working efficiently in a temperature-controlled freezer environment

Requirements

• Ability to work in a freezer environment with sub-zero temperatures
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
• Attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
• Previous warehouse, distribution, or food handling experience preferred

Pay

Starting at $18.50-$19.50/hr + $2/hr Freezer Differential for Cold Storage

Schedule

Training on 1st Shift (6:00 AM Start) After Training: Transition to PM Shift (1:00 PM Start)
