About the role

Cheryl's Cookies, part of the 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. family, is hiring Seasonal Food Production & Packaging Associates for 1st and 2nd shifts at its manufacturing facility in Westerville, Ohio. An onsite hiring event will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at 646 McCorkle Blvd, Westerville, OH 43082, where qualified candidates may receive on‑the‑spot job offers and could start work as soon as Thursday, October 22. The role involves assisting with cookie production, frosting, decorating, and packaging while maintaining food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Kitchen & Baking: assist with preparing and producing cookies and other baked goods; operate or assist with production equipment; support daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Frosting & Decorating: frost, decorate, and finish cookies and baked goods; assist with frosting machines and production lines; help ensure products meet quality and presentation standards.
• Packing & Packaging: package cookies and baked goods for shipment; label, assemble, and prepare finished products; inspect products for quality and accuracy; support packaging equipment and production lines.
• Follow food safety procedures, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and be flexible in supporting different production areas as business needs change.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, or similar experience.
• Comfortable standing and working on feet throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willing to learn different responsibilities and support multiple departments.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, dress code, and workplace safety requirements.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work assigned schedule and additional hours as needed during peak season.
• Note: This is a food manufacturing environment where employees work around common food allergens, including wheat, soy, milk, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts.
