Your advanced chemistry knowledge is more valuable than you think — and not just in a lab. We're looking for Chemistry Master's students and graduates to help train and evaluate some of the world's most powerful AI models. This is a fully remote, flexible contractor role working alongside top AI research teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design advanced chemistry problems to rigorously test AI performance across domains like chemical engineering, biochemistry, and physical chemistry
  • Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise, well-reasoned logic
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy and quality of reasoning
  • Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Master's-level chemistry topics
  • Provide structured, actionable feedback that directly shapes AI model development

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
  • Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
  • Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating quality and accuracy
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on an async schedule

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or evaluation workflows
  • Familiarity with large language models or AI research
  • Background spanning multiple chemistry sub-disciplines
