Intavis Peptide Services is a small but rapidly-growing biotech company specializing in producing customized peptides for laboratory and clinical research. With decades of experience in peptide synthesis, we develop and manufacture custom peptides for discovery and preclinical research, contributing to projects in vaccine development and personalized cancer therapy.

About the role

Join our team to independently develop, optimize, and scale synthesis and purification processes for complex, customer-specific projects. You will plan, execute, and document experiments scientifically, present and interpret results, and actively participate in establishing new processes and solving challenging preparative problems in the laboratory.

This role involves close collaboration at the interface between modern peptide chemistry (solid-phase and liquid-phase synthesis) and chemical process engineering, as well as contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of digital tools and automated systems to increase laboratory efficiency.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or a comparable field with a focus on organic synthesis.
  • Practical experience in peptide chemistry is a plus.
  • Strong process-oriented thinking and a good understanding of chemical and process engineering concepts.
  • Interest in laboratory automation, process digitization, and modern data analysis.
  • High level of initiative, a structured approach to work, and strong organizational skills.
  • Flexibility, a hands-on mentality, and enjoyment of working in a dynamic SME environment.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written German and English.
