Cheminformatics Scientist

We are seeking a Cheminformatics Scientist to join our Flavors Science & Technology team, focusing on flavor ingredient discovery through cheminformatics, machine learning, and AI techniques. In this role, you will design and implement algorithms and workflows to accelerate aroma and taste molecule discoverydevelop, validate, and deploy predictive models using QSAR, AI, and computational approachesapply statistical and machine learning methods to enhance hit identification processescollaborate with chemistry teams to integrate AI/ML into research workflowsimprove databases and computational pipelines supporting data-driven researchdevelop tools, visualizations, and analytical programs for molecular data analysiscommunicate insights and support collaborative effortsmentor colleagues and promote best practices in data management and reproducibility Qualifications Include PhD or Master’s in Cheminformatics, Chemistry, or related fieldsExpertise in structure-based design, virtual screening, and molecular dynamics3+ years in ligand-based modeling, protein modeling, and cheminformatics toolsStrong programming skills in Python or R, experience with SQL and analytics toolsKnowledge of data science, statistical analysis, and NLP/LLMs in scientific contexts The role offers a salary range of $80,000-120,000 plus comprehensive medical benefits and a high-matching 401(k).
