Chemical Warfare Material Program Manager
Job Description
You will work with a team of technical experts to deliver remediation services to our clients in the Federal market. In this role, you will perform a variety of functions and serve as a Deputy Program and Client Manager for the USACE Huntsville Center.
This position can be remote.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in engineering, environmental science, soil science, geology and or an earth science-related field
- 10+ years’ experience, including 2 years of leadership, as a Project Manager of federal projects and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and /or education
- Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship is required
PREFERRED REQUIREMENT
- USACE MMRP experience performing CWM remediation operations
- Thorough knowledge of USACE EP 75-1-3 and been involved with the development and implementation of a DDESB-approved Chemical Safety Submission (CSS) to conduct CWM removal actions
- 5+ years’ experience managing CWM task order work for USACE Huntsville Center strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects to scope, schedule, and budget
- Knowledge of project financial accounting, reporting, and controls
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including both oral and written
- Organizational management skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work
- Experienced on MMR programs, including CWM and advanced geophysical classification
- Experience managing CWM projects for the USACE Huntsville Center and/or Redstone Arsenal
- Demonstrated proposal-writing skills, Multiple Award Task Order Contract proposals
- Demonstrated ability to market and win work successfully and effectively
- Advanced knowledge of DoD and USACE MMR focusing on CWM requirements and processes
- Excellent and relevant references
