About the role
Oversee all plant specific operations on the floor - leading KPIs for safety, efficiency, quality and cost.
Manage various chemical risks and support safety initiatives in that regard.
Provide senior leadership to deliver site specific objectives from corporate leadership.
Ensure compliance with ISO, OSHA, EPA and GMP requirements.
Manage plant budgets and capital projects.
Ensure top-level customer experiences from an internal operational perspective, - top quality, on-time shipping, etc.
Lead business planning for the site for immediate, 2 year, and 5 year plans.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in a leadership capacity within a Chemical manufacturing environment.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field.
- Knowledge of ISO, OSHA, EPA, GMP, and other regulations strongly preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to implement and execute corporate strategy projects.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
- Candidate local to northern suburbs preferred, open to relocation.

- Leadership experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Technical degree in relevant field.
- Understanding of regulatory standards.
