About the role
As a Packer, you’ll ensure precise weighing, filling, and labeling of liquid chemicals while maintaining inventory and quality control through Manufacturing Execution System and SAP systems. You’ll uphold strict safety protocols, use equipment properly, and collaborate with your team to maintain a clean, organized workspace—all while adhering to quality standards and Personal Protection Equipment requirements.
Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh and fill liquid chemical materials into containers according to instructions and recipes.
- Follow packing procedures including scanning to validate materials, precision weighing using a weight-assisted computer, testing scales, and using correct scales.
- Utilize computer systems: Weight Assisted Computer, Manufacturing Execution System, and SAP.
- Use SAP to inventory containers, inputting total actual amount packed, confirm actual pack-out and scrap loss, and confirm delivery quantity matches confirmed quantity.
- Strict adherence to labeling protocol, including printing/reprinting labels, selecting label sizes according to container types, proper placement of labels on containers, and proper disposal of extra or ruined labels.
- Close containers, including properly crimping containers and applying tamper-evidence seals.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent or prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 1-year chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
- Must be able to tolerate strong odors and allergens.
- Ability to be on your feet for an 8-hour shift.
- Frequently lift a 35 lb. product hose.
- Frequently move, lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.

Pay
The hourly wage for this position is $25.00. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and primary work location.
