Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Good computer skills.
- Ability to make gross or fine adjustments to parts, machines, vehicles or controls that require coordinating fine or gross finger or hand movement with visual information.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pumping equipment, containers, and samples of both hazardous and non-hazardous products while following all safety precautions and procedures.
- Operate a hi-lo to facilitate the movement of materials.
- Once proficiency is proven in the packaging of materials, the incumbent will begin compounding production batches.
- Document pertinent information for the contents of each waste tote and/or drum; ensure each container is sampled, stored, and labeled correctly noting distinction between waste types.
- Maintain all relevant batch processing instructions.
