Responsibilities

• Follow batch sheet instructions to safely meet production targets with good quality finished product.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a safe work environment by actively participating in the safety program.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and complete documentation using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Ensure all quality standards are met or exceeded.
• Complete housekeeping and 5S activities throughout and at the end of each shift within the assigned production area.
• Meet production targets and urgently communicate any downtime that hinders achievement.
• Train and become certified in all areas of production as coordinated by the Production Supervisor.
• Provide feedback and continuous improvement ideas involving plant safety, quality, and production to the leadership team.
• Embrace the Henkel vision and values.
• Perform various other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred chemical batch making experience.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
• Strong commitment to safety systems and OSHA required standards.
• Ability to work effectively with other employees.
• Well-developed planning and organizational skills, including the ability to work independently, prioritize, meet targets, and manage workload.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk alternately for up to 12 hours per day.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs frequently during a shift.
• Ability to wear a full-face respirator as required.
• Ability to climb and descend stairs routinely.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with exposure to fumes, dust, chemicals, odors, and noise.

Pay

The hourly pay rate for this role is $22.50. This rate reflects the good-faith minimum and maximum hourly rate the Company reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of posting. This role is classified as non-exempt, and employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. In addition to the hourly wage, employees in this position may be eligible for shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, or other forms of compensation, depending on role and location.
