About the role

Compounder / Batch Maker on the Second Shift (2:30 pm – 11:00 pm) in our manufacturing plant, producing consumer products such as Jergens Lotion.

Schedule

Second Shift: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, with weekend work as needed.

Pay

$22.00 – $26.00 per hour depending upon experience, plus shift differential and bonus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh raw materials
• Accurately document standard and non‑standard making procedures
• Transfer products to holding tanks
• Sample and test raw materials and batches
• Keep the equipment and facility clean
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment, tools, scales, etc.
• Participate in departmental improvement activities such as SOP writing, safety audits, and project teams

Requirements

• High school education with basic math and writing skills
• More than 6 months of related experience
• Ability to lift up to 70 lb on a somewhat frequent basis
• Familiarity with processing equipment and SOPs
• Willingness to perform basic maintenance procedures
• Excellent attendance and willingness to work weekends
