Chemical Engineer I – Hydrometallurgy

About the role

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize hydrometallurgical processes for metal recovery from tailings.
• Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale experiments to test new materials and techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process efficiency and product quality.
• Document and communicate findings to stakeholders, including technical reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in hydrometallurgy or similar field.
• Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles and their application to industrial processes.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
