Key Responsibilities
- Read, understand, and follow blending and mixing specifications with discipline and precision to ensure consistent, high-quality finished products
- Execute established processes consistently, trusting that standard work and repeatability are essential for quality and continuous improvement
- Mix products for specified durations and monitor the process to ensure proper control, adjusting or escalating concerns as needed
- Take ownership of assigned work by seeing tasks through to completion and ensuring results meet expectations
- Actively monitor product quality, raw materials, and equipment; immediately stop work and notify supervision when quality or safety issues are identified
- Accurately record production data, work orders, batch information, and production times to support traceability and data-driven decisions
- Apply correct labels and documentation to finished products
- Operate a forklift to unload incoming chemical shipments (when certified)
- Maintain 6S standards by keeping work areas clean, organized, safe, and clearly labeled at all times
- Use data, observations, and firsthand experience to identify opportunities for process improvement and support corrective actions
- Communicate proactively with supervisors and teammates—sharing issues, updates, and concerns early to avoid surprises
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong work ethic with the ability to take personal responsibility for quality, safety, and results
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a production team that values trust, accountability, and collaboration
- Comfortable following standardized processes while also seeking to understand the “why” behind them
- Willingness to work assigned hours and overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Regularly required to stoop, crouch, reach, walk, twist, bend, and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to use hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds
- May be required to climb ladders or access elevated work areas
