About the role

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
• Cook and assemble meals according to established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and policies
• Coordinate food production to align with meal serving times
• Auxiliary tasks such as tray line setup and plate assembly
• Perform daily cleaning duties in the kitchen
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service through interactions with guests, their families, and visitors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility
• Strong knowledge of food procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality care
• Team player with dedication to supporting team members and achieving goals

Qualifications

Pay

$18.85 per hour, with a new rate starting at $18.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time position with rotating weekends and some holidays, no late nights.
