About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate, creative, and driven Chef de Cuisine to join our culinary team and help deliver unforgettable dining experiences. Working alongside our Executive Chef, you’ll play a key leadership role in kitchen operations, menu development, team training, inventory management, and daily culinary execution. This is an opportunity to showcase your talent, inspire a team, and contribute to a menu that evolves with the seasons while highlighting fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Responsibilities
- Lead kitchen operations and ensure seamless culinary execution.
- Collaborate on menu development, emphasizing seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of excellence.
- Oversee inventory management, cost control, and financial goals.
- Uphold food safety, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations.
- Foster a creative, fast-paced, and collaborative kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Minimum 5 years of cooking experience.
- Minimum 2 years of kitchen management experience.
- Minimum 2 years of Banquet Chef experience preferred.
- Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members.
- Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
- College degree or certification in culinary/hospitality field preferred.
- Ability to align operations with financial goals.
