About the role

We are seeking a per diem Chef to join the Rosewood team at our Scottsdale, AZ location. Availability needed on an on-call basis with potential for more hours. Rosewood is one of the nation’s leading eating disorder treatment programs for men, women, and adolescents, offering comprehensive care from 24-hour inpatient monitoring to residential, transitional, and outpatient programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nourishing, well-balanced, and appealing meals for clients.
• Facilitate and model normalized eating for our clients.
• Maintain kitchen and oversee work of food service staff.
• Collaborate with clinical team to meet nutritional needs in a holistic setting.
• Adapt and create individualized menu items.
• Order food and supplies needed for kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Significant cooking experience is important.
• Formal culinary training is highly desired.
• Friendly personality suited for a healthcare setting.
• Able to prepare dishes with desirable presentation.
• Flexibility, reliability, and responsibility are critical characteristics.
• ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, as driving is a requirement of the job.
