About the role
The role involves managing a team of chefs in a high-end restaurant setting, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring exceptional food quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen staff and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement new menu items based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Collaborate with the executive chef to plan and execute special events and seasonal menus.
- Manage inventory and budgeting to optimize costs and maintain profitability.
- Train and mentor junior chefs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen management experience.
- Proven track record of successful menu development and execution.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
- Valid food handler certification.
- Experience with corporate dining and event planning.
- Knowledge of local and international cuisine.

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts.
