Join our team as we open our 2nd Casey’s Tavern in East Ann Arbor! Since 1986, Casey’s Tavern has been serving “Lots of Good Cheap Food and Dozens of Beers” in the historic Depot Street building. Known as Ann Arbor’s “Neighborhood Bar,” the tavern is famous for its award‑winning hamburgers and an eclectic menu that includes deli sandwiches, salads, fish, steaks, vegetarian fare, creative appetizers, and desserts, plus weekly “Blackboard Specials.”

About the role

We are hiring Chef / Kitchen Managers to lead the back‑of‑house operations of our second Casey’s Tavern. This management opportunity lets you add a touch of magic to everything you do while working in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant back‑of‑house/kitchen teams, including assistant manager duties.
• Serve as a member of the restaurant management team, overseeing daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain and adopt Casey’s Tavern standards for food quality, safety, and service.
• Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to ensure seamless service.
• Preferably bring Sous Chef or Culinary Manager experience to the Heart of House role.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 + years of current full‑service restaurant kitchen manager experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Polished professional with an eye for detail and a willingness to learn.
• Preferred: Sous Chef or Culinary Manager experience.
