About the role

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for slicing, cutting, wrapping all deli products for consumption. Maintains a clean and sanitized work station in accordance with corporate and state sanitation regulations. Responsible for providing excellent, friendly service to all customers of the operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and helpful service to all customers.
• Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers upon fulfilling requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation at all times.
• Work within company standards to provide fast, friendly, and efficient customer service consistently.
• Slice, cut, and wrap all deli products for consumption.
• Express cheese types, characteristics, and uses to customers.
• Perform sanitation duties within the department in accordance with corporate and state regulations (e.g., mopping, sweeping, emptying garbage, and cleaning production equipment).
• Maintain a high level of customer courtesy and service at all times.
• Work within company efficiency standards consistently.
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic literacy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Satisfactory performance reviews.
