About the role

Responsible for learning and supporting a full-service Murray's experience that embodies the food passion, cheese knowledge, interactive customer service, and industry-leading merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the in-store Murray's Cheese Master to create an environment of outgoing, personal, theatrical cheese retailing within the store.
• Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.
• Show enthusiasm for the product and be open to trying new and innovative approaches.
• Easily convey ideas at the appropriate level based on the audience.
• Have retail experience and be a Super Foodie supportive of cheese business initiatives.
• Inspire and motivate customers while ensuring the successful completion of all assigned tasks.
• Active demonstration within the Murray's Cheese Shop, Deli, and other areas.
• Proactively engage in customer service: ongoing conversations and tastings with customers.
• Contribute to target sales and gross profit goals.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Comply with Murray's operations manual and ensure a consistently fully stocked, fresh, signed, and rotated product selection.
• Create and maintain the Murray's Boutique experience: education, service, effective cross-selling, merchandising, and promotion of designated products.
