Pay
Starting rate: $22.59/hour with two pay increases in the first year up to $1.00–$1.50. Shift differential and double time on Sundays.

Schedule
3/2/2/3 6-6 rotating schedule: 1 month of days followed by 1 month of nights.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging and casing equipment
- Ensure safe operation, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment
- Monitor the complete process for safety, efficiency, and quality
- Maintain the packaging room, casing room, brine room, and dry storage in a clean and sanitary fashion
- Adhere to quality system requirements, procedures, and work instructions set forth through SOPs and Master Sanitation Schedules
- Understand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies; report any potential food safety issues to management
- Assist in changing mold sizes and cleanup of cheese molder as needed
- Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices
- Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures
- Correct or report any observed safety hazards
- Support safety policies and programs
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one (1) year of related experience
Skills
- Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and required documentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication with managers and colleagues
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Sound and consistent decision-making in compliance with policies and laws
