About the role
Concorde Education partners with schools and educational organizations nationwide to provide engaging, hands‑on enrichment programs for K–12 students. These opportunities are ideal for dancers, cheerleaders, coaches, performers, college students, educators, and individuals who enjoy sharing their skills with young learners. Formal teaching certification is not required. We value practical experience, enthusiasm, reliability, and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
Selected independent instructional contractors may lead small‑group cheerleading and/or dance enrichment programs designed to introduce students to movement, rhythm, coordination, teamwork, self‑confidence, and creative expression. Depending on the assignment, instruction may focus on cheerleading, dance, or a combination of both. Example program topics include:
- Cheerleading Fundamentals: Basic cheers, motions, formations, and routines
- Hip‑Hop & Contemporary Dance: Age‑appropriate choreography, rhythm, and movement
- Jazz & Creative Dance: Dance techniques, musicality, and creative expression
- Teamwork & Performance: Group routines, synchronization, and collaboration
- Choreography & Musicality: Creating and practicing routines to music
- Confidence & Physical Fitness: Coordination, flexibility, movement, and positive self‑expression
Activities are adapted to student ages, abilities, and program objectives. Cheerleading instruction emphasizes safe, age‑appropriate, non‑stunting activities unless specifically authorized and appropriately supervised.
