Checking Production Associate

About the role

E&R Laundry and Dry Cleaners is seeking Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Associates to join their team. This is a full-time position from 4:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekends off. The role involves checking in garments, sorting laundry, maintaining company standards, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Check in garments in the computer system according to each bundle
• Inspect garments for items in pockets, garment defects, unbuttoned blouses, etc.
• Sort laundry and place in specific categories
• Stand or work "on your feet" for extended periods of time
• Use basic computer skills
• Maintain company standards of performance and comply with all standard policies, safety policies, and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Willingness and ability to work in any area or department within the plant, based upon business needs and as assigned by management
• Capable of working in a warehouse environment, with elevated temperatures, fluctuating temperatures, loud noises, and moving machinery
• Capable of lifting and maneuvering up to 30 pounds on a consistent basis
• Team player with the skill set to work independently with minimal direction
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptable to change
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Pay
