Responsibilities

• Pulls orders, counts, loads, and unloads product on incoming and outgoing trailers according to the shipping schedule.
• Ensures that product received from production or other plants is recorded correctly.
• Loads and unloads to appropriate distribution area to ensure that shipping schedules are met.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and work rules.
• Performs other duties deemed integral by management, such as adhering to work schedules and attendance policies.
• Physically capable of movement to all shipping areas, including exerting force to move wheeled equipment weighing up to 400 lbs for distances up to 100 feet.
• Routinely stoops, bends, and lifts product containers weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Wears and uses approved safety equipment as needed.
• Meets and maintains FDA and CDC food handling requirements for public safety in a food production environment.
• Performs basic mathematical computations.

Requirements

• No educational prerequisite; must have demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, and record information applicable to the job.
• Six or more months of shipping or related experience (preferred).

Pay

Competitive hourly range of $21.16–$24.16, plus an excellent total rewards package.
